Inujima
Three Hours to
Change Tomorrow
Please enjoy the atmosphere of Inujima with sound.
Inujima is a small island
with a circumference of 3.6 km
and a population of about 40 people.
The island, which once prospered
from copper smelting and quarrying,
is now
home to a variety of art projects,
including an art museum
that reconstructed the remains
of a century-old smelter,
galleries scattered throughout
the narrow lanes of the village,
and a botanical garden
where visitors can experience
the joy of living
in harmony with nature.
A three-hour experience of
contemporary art integrated
into the island's landscape and lifestyle.
We hope that
this experience will be
the opportunity for you
to rethink your way of life.
