Minshuku and guest houses
There is a wide range of accommodations available on Naoshima, Teshima, and Inujima, including minshuku (family-operated Japanese-style bed and breakfasts, some serving dinner as well), ryokan (traditional Japanese inns), and guest houses. Some lodgings feature common areas where guests can interact with one another, while others offer female-only accommodations or rental of entire cottages for families and groups.

Inujima, an island compact enough to make the rounds of its art on foot, also has two lodging facilities: Inujima Shizen-no-ie (Nature House/Japanese Only) and Sinnei(Japanese Only).
